At this time, ZeeMaya’s Care does not participate with insurance, HMOs or Medicare. Services are considered out-of-network and payment is due at the time of service.
Medicare beneficiaries are required by law to sign a Medicare Opt-Out agreement before services can be provided.

ZeeMaya’s Care LLC provides compassionate mental health care for adolescents and adults in Rockville, Maryland, with telehealth services also available for clients across Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia.
The practice is led by Hawa Fofanah, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Hawa provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, therapy services and personalized mental health treatment planning for clients aged 14 and older.
ZeeMaya’s Care supports individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, panic disorder, mood disorders, insomnia, sleep-related concerns, OCD, psychotic disorders and other mental health challenges. Care is provided in a supportive, patient-centered environment with treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs.
Services include initial psychiatric evaluations, follow-up medication management, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, individual therapy, family counseling, couples therapy and telehealth consultations.
Hawa brings a strong healthcare background to her work. She began her career in cardiac stepdown care and inpatient nursing before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner and later moving into psychiatric mental health care. Her experience in both physical and mental health allows her to take a thoughtful, whole-person approach to supporting each client.
ZeeMaya’s Care offers both virtual services and in-person appointments by request, making it easier for clients in Rockville and surrounding communities to access care.
